Hello eBayers. We are in the process of selling off our collection of vintage bikes. Please take a look at our other items on eBay. Important Note:
Photos in listing show old tires on the bike. These will be replaced with new tires by the seller before shipping at no additional cost. For sale is a vintage 1984 Trek 720 touring bike with a 24" frame. What makes this bike special from others is that it has been extensively updated with modern wheels and drivetrain components. The strong and light Reynolds 531 frame has a very long wheelbase and provides plenty of heel clearance for rear panniers and luggage. This combination of frame and components provides excellent loaded touring stability, endurance, and gearing to travel any route. Yet it still retains its original retro look, comfort, and feel. Everything works and has been well maintained. No dents or broken parts. There are scratches, paint chips, and paint bubbles. It's light for its class and a joy to ride. This bike is ready to tour. Bike specifications below followed known flaws. Please scroll down to the bottom of the listing for shipping and packaging info. Contact me with your request and I will try to accommodate. Local buyers can save packaging and shipping cost by picking up in Lake Oswego, about 9 miles south of Portland, OR. Have a question?
